Horn Detailing
Re: Horn Detailing
Ah, but are not we of a very exclusive, very small club, that knows that you must tune
the horns on your car before you can toot them?

Re: Horn Detailing
Hello. Does anyone have a lead for the red tubing for the FIAMM horn? I got mine from ebay about 10 years ago. I don't know what it was for, but it was the right shade of red and it had that correct semi-translucent look, but now I noticed that it's oxidizing--it's actually turning into jell. Newco's is not translucent. Thanks for any help.

Re: Horn Detailing
Would a possible solution be to purchase clear tubing and then dye it with "Rit" dye? A person could control the degree of darkness of the red tint by varying the time of immersion in the dye bath. Just a thought.

Okay fellows, third time order is a charm. I found a good match. It has just enough translucency for our FIAMM horns. Google "fast Flow" fuel lines

You are welcome, Peter. Come to think of it, some time ago I got the green version in a larger size for the fuel tank breather.
