Dave , i think a picture of what you would like to find would give you a broader response from any resources here. Is there a drawing with part numbers or identification description? that would be fantastic!

Dave, be advised that these kits have become very very expensive, and sometimes it is more reasonable to build one up from the repo materials available. Parker Hall has some material, and you may be able to fill in from things you trade for. Unless you have an engine to trade it may be difficult to obtain a full complete kit that way.

Here's the picture of the toolkit from the GTE owner's manual.

Dave - Here is what a 1963 tool kit can look like, minus the wrench and fan belt.. I don't think Ferrari paid a lot of attention to the took kit, so some things did change. The grease nozzle seems to have gotten shorter and my tool bag got reversed. Some kits also have bottles of horn oil. Tom S. can get you repros of those.

Good photo of tool kit complete. Is there a website posting of each individual tool that enable us to authenticate a tool kit or individual tools being offered for sale or trade? I realize there may be some variance thru the years, but at least one authentic tool kit would establish a point in time. Is there a part number for each tool so we can be sure of what is we speak?

Take a look at http://www.330gt.com/ToolKit/330GT1BagToolkit.htm. This is oriented to an early 330 GT toolkit, but many of the tools did not change from the GTE. If you click on each tool listing, there will be pictures of originals, and sometimes a reproduction along with availability.

As far as a part number, some tools (like the steel hammer and open ended wrenches) will have certain marks, but in general, most don't have any unique marks. In particular, the pliers are usually determined to be original by the shape, length and knurling on the handles.
