Hi folks:
Was in Maranello a few weeks back and found this interesting 330 aero model at the Ferrari Museum. The back end looks like a real good market for ANSA exhaust tips, but alas is just an array of Pitot tubes. Not sure how valid their data was with no rolling road or bumpers, but it was neat to see the model has survived all these years. Only the two models were on display, they looked to be aboot 1/6 full size. Great museum, spent 8 hours and still hadn't viewed everything carefully enough!. Did have a factory tour booked, but couldn't make the date, that was a bummer! I tried to wrangle my way in while there, but only got as far as meeting a manager of the restoration deparment, ah, well....
It was fun to watch the cars coming out the factory gate for a test run, including the restoration department cars.
Cheers
steve

That is also not a bad color for a 330GT

When you said "aero" I was thinking of the Ferrari involvement in the aircraft industry. As you may know Piaggio Aircraft is owned by Ferrari, and is run by Piero Ferrari. They all display the prancing horse on the tail and Ferrari badge on the nose. Cool aircraft, twin pusher props and all!

Wow! What a great post. This is fantastic to see. A pre full scale Pininfarina tunnel specimen. Thanks for sharing these photos.
Further proof that the production of this model was a fairly serious effort (regardless of what the anti 4HL pundits claim)!

Looks like a model of Yale's car after it backed into a porcupine!

I was there in 2004 and they had this great technical drawing of a GTE in what I remember to be about 1/3 scale. Too bad it was in a narrow hallway with a window on the opposite wall.
