transmission tunnel seal

I was wondering if any of you guys put some type of gasket between the transmission tunnel and the floor to help seal it? If so what did you use? I really don't want to use strip caulk as if I need to remove it later it won't be such a mess.

any thoughts?

William, you could use the simple foam seal from the hardware store, it has a peel and stick surface on one side and comes in various widths and thickness. Also, just over sealing the edge with duct tape works. Jim
