Need contact for vintage guages

Post by 330 America »

I want to locate a couple spare oil/fuel/temp Jaeger guages for my 1960 OSCA 1600 GT Zagato. I've done some Google research and came up with very little. Mike at D&M Restorations suggests contacting Francois Sicard for direction -- but I'm not sure how to contact him (Tom could probably relay the message).

Please help

Dear Steve,

Just noticed your post. You might call Margaret Lucas at Mo-Ma Mfg, 1321 2nd St NW
Albuquerque, NM 87102 (505) 766-6661. She might have a lead for you.

Best regards,

Robert

Steve that is one odd message. You have talked to Tom Yang millions of times, when you very much wanted to buy his 330 America emblem, when you wanted him to take your interior to Franks shop, when you wanted him to take photos of his 330 America as your shop at the time had cut the whole front nose off of your car from the firewall forward and was at a loss as to what to do now. After all that what is the point of writing a public post as opposed to asking Tom directly?

Yes, but at least Steve's message is longer than one sentence.

Steve,

You may have to try some sources in the UK.
The british have a tendency to hoard instruments
and headlamps in their little closets. They show
them off on rare occasion and then promptly
lock them away. Very hush, hush my good man.

Hello Steve.
I have the same Jaeger gauges in mine- Citroen DS Cabrio- it was an option for those cars in the old days. more sport alike.
the early 1960 cars has write text .later after 1965 symbols were used.
I think not available in englisch text.
Well those are the Franche people.
You can find them at Ebay.FR now and than.
The small ones cost about 100-150€ each, the big ones RPM and SPEEDO 300 € .used of course
Hopes this help you further.

Try North Hollywood (California) speedometer. They are german bias but could get you pointed in the right direction. They have tons of guages and dials. They just repaired my 330 clock and it is perfect. The best.

Dag Rudy,
Dit kan eigelijk alleen maar kommen uit de omgeving Den Haag/A'dam
Er zijn hier te weinig hollanders onder weg om een eigen hollandse sectie te beginnen.
