The 2009 Radcliffe Motorcar/ Tomyang.net Spring Event

Post by carello »

This looks to be the highlight of May 2009! Is anyone signed to be there? I don't have a Ferrari to bring at this time, but the 23 T speedster might do. I see there are some seminars? Maybe the instructor can share some crimping guidelines? Can we bring our heads to be rebuilt on the spot by Baltimore Head?

I am sure Tom has a slot for you Craig to do a power point of the finer details and minutia of Italian car electrics. We expect it to be at least 2 hours long and have foot notes!

I am planning on meeting Yale in NYC and then driving down with him. When I spoke to Radcliffe las week they said that they had about 60 cars registered.

I look forward to seeing you all.

Hi everyone, my biggest worry is the amount of cars and people showing, which is a good thing. The first tech session should start at about 10am. I'm planning on cars arriving by 9am, I will have coffee and donuts here. Pray for nice weather!!!!!! See you all here.

Yale, i was preparing for the annealing of vintage upholstery hog ring seminar, but lack of interest has squashed that idea. The electric stuff is dangerous! Looks like it should be a great time with everything Richard and Tom have planned.

Now when you anneal the hog rings, you can show people the difference between "dull red" and "cherry hot!"...

...but seriously, Mammocks will be there again this year, and will be talking about electrics again, and I'm collecting Ferrari valve train parts to supplement Baltimore Head Works' demo. It should be a great show!

Hi everyone, here's the latest on the show. The first tech session, which is the Megiuars Detailing demonstration, will start at 10am. If there is rain in the morning we may push back the first tech session until more people arrive. I now have 65 cars registered, I even have a 1929 Isotta Fraschini coming later in the morning. The tech sessions will all be at the top of the hour baring any unforseen situation (rain). The show will go on rain or shine. Thanks, I look forward to seeing you all here.

I'm frustrated that I can't make it... Sounds like a great day is planned!
