But it helps the air flow through the radiator, particularly with the front mounted fans. High water temp is more likely than high oil temp.

Hi Zac,

That pan is very different than the one that is on my car, and other GTEs I've seen. Since your car is the FIRST GTE, I can see how production GTEs may have changed that pan. My pan tucks behind the front valence, bolts to the frame of the car, not the bodywork.

I'd buy that. I tend to chuck those fans into a box and throw on a plastic one, so I've actually experienced the opposite.

I am taking my belly pan to Zac tomorrow to replicate. It will be interesting to see if it fits. Kare - was that replaced as well?

Kare - I guess I do have that book, the standard Pininfarina parts book. I just did not think of it because I could never figure out what that thing was! It is interesting that they show that but do not show a belly pan. Could the pan have been made by Ferrari instead of Pininfarina?

By the way, as long as we are on the subject of the book (and off the subject of Zac's car)does anybody know what the first four parts are (241-10.662 - 665)? They are labeled "passaggio ruota interno" & "passaggio ruo esterno" which bablefish.com nicely translates as "passage rotates inner" & "passage rotates outside". There is no indication of size.

Yes, for the 330, the belly pan is listed in the Ferrari mechanical parts book, not the PF body parts book. Of course, Ferrari didn't make a mechanical parts book for any 250 except the inside plug model and it does show a belly pan.

Ruota is also "wheel". Not that that helps much :)

Yes, belly pan is a Ferrari part, so not listed in Pininfarina parts book.

Passaggio ruota interno/esterno is a wheel well. External parts are repair parts to replace rusty wheel arcs.
