I have a few brass related parts on the car that i would like to restore to the orig brass finish and look.
Does anyone have a good method tfor cleaning and refinish this type of metal ?
Do they make something you can dip the parts in and they come out new?

I'm serious. But don't blame me if you can't eat ketchup after trying it out.

Check this site:

They have a brass plating kit. I don't know how well it works but it's not as cheap as ketchup.

For an original look, don't polish the brass up too brightly. You can add a natural patina to a previously polished part by boiling it for a few minutes in water with baking soda (sodium bicarbonate).
