exhaust manifold

I might have to replace the exhaust manifold on my 330GT. Any idea what a replacement cost and time to install?

Which ones--- see below ---can be bought at Strebo Canada new,
i dont sell parts.
bought some for about 1000 euros compleet.
they ask 3000 usd or more,It a question of necociation!
they are flexable, because of low demand.
the old ones can not welded properly .
time 2 hours when you are fast.
2 weeks for those who do it the first time.

its only a hobby here.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the top header is usually found on 250 engines, while I've found the two piece headers in the second picture on late 250 engines. 330s have the two piece header and the header spacing is different.

I think I have a set of 330 headers in my parts stash...

Do you have any thoughts if stainless is a good material for headers? It's heat expansion is far greater than on mild steel and heat transfer is very poor, so when warming up the stress levels may get very higher. Taking that headers are attached with a handfull of M7 screws, I would not dare to test stainless headers unless somebody else did it first... Best wishes, Kare

Kare, I dont use them my self but ALLl the thing you said are correct in theory.
My wife' car a Citroen SM, drives now over 300000 km with such a system without any problems.
and those 6-cyl Maserati engines has not the best name !

the friend of my has no problems 330GTC, but he drive the max of 15000 km a year only in summer.
thats why i bought this system after attempting to prof.welding it
but he think the interior is hotter !!
but than can be suggestion.

I think Stebro uses 409 stainless for their pipes and 301 stainless for mufflers, at least that's how my system was constructed. I'd imagine their headers would be 409 as well. I don't know if the properties are drastically different.
