Wiper Motor barrel connectors

Post by enio45 »

Does anyone have a source for the Lucas wiper motor barrel connectors to the wiring harness? Seems I lost all 4 :-( of the them.

Thanks in advance....

If a barrel means a connector connecting two bullets, how about ebay auction 230274984539...?

Basically connecting Italian bullets (as used on the wiring harness) to Lucas bullets (as used on Lucas motors) using a connector of either type is not a perfect solution. Still I think I'll stick my Italian bullets into those Lucas connectors and forget about it. That's what they did at the factory.

Or maybe I'll make the harness with Lucas connectors to have parts fitting perfectly together and just forget about how much I hate those lousy Lucas connectors. Don't really care as I have much bigger decisions to make too...

Hi Kare,
the bullets and connectors are made of diff metals,
that course an galvano element.
my car often stays overnight outside see pic.
with high condense inside due to plastic sliding windows
I can wait 6 month and the wiper will strike.
TomY dont drive with rain, I do
green oxidation powder all over the place when opening.
I think Yale and I are the only surviving daily drivers here.
I just warn you Kare!
dont argue with an idot.

nice weekend

Thanks for coming to my defense Tom W.! My wipers may not have been working, but that didn't stop us!

Hi Cornelis,

I'll be writing about my trip to WI in several Ferraris, driving in all types of weather. You may have to change your opinion of me!

I believe they are the same as Ford used 28 - 72. But I didn't check them when I had my wiper motor out. And they are a pita to connect up!

Cheers
