I'm going to the awards dinner. In fact I'm going to everything. Question: Is there time to go to the Yacht Hop and also the TomYang party at Ron Gaeta's house on Friday?
Are there any other conflicts I should worry about?

Tom,

Looks like you can do both. The Yacht Hop is 5-7pm, Tom's Party 6-whenever Ron throws us out :>)

Tom Y - Your planning paid off! You got the car out of town before the big storm. Good job!

I figured it was only a matter of time before a big storm hit. Sounds like the coast got creamed. For once, Upstate NY might get a mere 6 inches! We'll see when I wake up tomorrow.

Wow, you beat us by 4-5"!

Happy Holidays Richard.

Be sure to put a ski rack on the 330 America when it heads south.

You'll need to mount chains. Ferraris are rubbish in the snow!

Google image search + moderate Photoshop skills + way too much free time = Ferrari plow. Bring on the snow!

Cavallino is only days away and my 308 is still in the shop. I spoke to Tim Stanford on Saturday and he believes I will have the car ready for Cavallino. For me that means Thursday's guest lecture series. I guess it was not just a simple backfire "tunning" issue my car had.

Am I the only one that is "excited" about Cavallino?

I'm excited too!

I've been working to get my car ready for the Cavallino Snowball Run (A 4 day trip each way, starting in Quebec with the car on a trailer, towing South to meet up with Tom Y in NY, then farther South to pick up Tom's car in Maryland, then farther South to meet up with Mark Dempsey in Maryland also, and finally the three of us driving Tom's '63 330 America, Mark's '68 365 GT 2+2 and my '69 365 GT 2+2 from Mark's place in Maryland to Palm Beach. Three V12s, total age - 130 years.

I'm putting the valve covers back on mine after changing all the adjusting screws from the ball type back to the original type. By the way, Geoff Ohland's screws are beautiful quality - Thanks Geoff. I always seem to have a last minute panic. One of my oil cooler hoses started leaking (in the hose, not the connector) when I removed the radiator to repair another leak. I got lucky and found an Industrial hydraulics Shop that made a replacement while I waited. It took only a few tears, some begging, and $45.

I'm heading out Sunday morning and will encounter my first challenge when I try to cross the border with a borrowed truck, a rented trailer, and a Quebec registered 41 year-old Ferrari that never encountered an emission or safety law that it could meet.

Wish me luck.

Get ready, Tom and Mark. Here I come.
