Honored to even be mentioned in the same sentence as Mr. Ridgely, and yes his writing style is different than mine because I am bordering on illiterate and he is a well respected author. I have read the 410 Superamerica book many times and several of his others pieces.

Off topic.

Thanks for let me know Zac, Its difficult to get an inmpression of some body 4000-5000 miles away.

For me it was quite clear DWR46 has not only a theoritical background the way he explains clearly our little problems.

This man made his hand also dirty in the past or present.

Michael,

Just a quick note: fine wire plugs will provide an advantage in combustion beyond the normal benefit of installing a fresh set of plugs. I think I posted an explanation in the Ferrarichat 308 thread linked to above. However, the lead in the fuel you use may present a problem when using these plugs. I have heard claims that lead is not a problem with iridium alloys but, I have no personal experience.

If you try the double fine point version http://www.ngk.com/sparkplug411.asp?kw= ... ode&mfid=1 , you can gap the plugs to 0.035", or more, without increasing the stress on rest of the ignition system.

Regards,

Art S.

PS. I play with sparkplugs for a living ( http://www.knite.com )
