Re: Cylinder Head Removal
Guys, where do you get Grade 8 bolts that are threaded head to toe? I could only find Grade 2 that is completely threaded. I have tried these Grade 2 bolts twice now and every one of them twisted or sheared. The funny thing is that one head came off without the use of a puller, but the other one is hanging on for dear life. Thanks for your help.

Re: Cylinder Head Removal
Here's my brand of a head puller. After breaking two sets of Grade Two 3/8" bolts I resorted to these 3/4" bolts. Of course, this let me raise the head by no more than 3/4", but at least I persuaded the bastard to move. The nuts are welded to the plate from the bottom side. Now, I'll have to weld 3/8" nuts onto the big nuts to raise the head the rest of the way. If this isn't an abortion what is?

Re: Cylinder Head Removal
Hello, I mishandled this crankshaft rear thrust washer and it bent. Any advice where I can get a replacement? Thanks.

Re: Cylinder Head Removal
These come in various thicknesses to provide the proper end play for the crank. So you'll probably have to buy the set of four.
