Dear fellow dinosaurs,

On your next visit to the Cayman Islands be sure to check out a couple of Ferraris. Sorry no serial numbers this time.

See: http://www.caymanmotormuseum.com/new/me ... -downloads

Very interesting! This museum houses the collection of Andreas & Natalie Ugland. The GTE Register has no records of any car in the Caymen's or owned by the Uglands. Their history page says the cars were formerly scattered all over Europe, but nothing specifically on the GTE. I have sent them an email and will keep you all informed.

Admiral, Your post was most interesting, as we often cruise the Caribbean and don't get off the ship when we're in the Caymans, but this might be an exception. How far is this from the dock? Easily accessible? thanx steve

Dear Steve,

I have not been to the Caymans and do not know where the cruise ships dock. I found out about the museum from a postcard sent by a friend visiting there.

However, if you check out the following url it may make sense to you.

Obviously the next time you are there is will be time to collect some serial numbers.

Best regards,

Hmmm, tho' we're nearly 6 months from the cruise, my Mom wants to sail somewhere else, so no Cayman museum for us this year. Argghghh. Oh well, I think (fingers crossed) that we'll be able to see the real deal....the Ferrari museum in Maranello, in October. We'll see. s
