Wished I had gone to the track. It would've been such a treat to hear nothing but small block V12's at high rev. Their sounds are almost always polluted by V8's and other mongrels. Thanks Tom.

Thanks Tom, wonderful post. I had only heard the exhaust notes of the 250's owned by a certain gentleman from Stamford, hearing the group brought shivers.

Enjoyed all the pics and video clip Tom. Joh Surtees is a real gentleman. George Wingard owns that Fiat S74 (Saturday Laguna Seca pics) amongst a big colleciton of big engined veteran cars that he usually takes to Goodwood for the Festival of Speed each year. It's not as dangerous as this veteran machine though! Have a look at 3-4 pics along:
