330 Salvage Yard

Post by treue »

Fabulous Fellow Ferrari Friends,

Does anyone know of one or more 330s being salvaged, besides Fred Petroske and Tom Shaughnessy? I need the hood safety catch, the hood pad retainer bows, the hood torsion springs and maybe some other parts. Thanks in advance for any help.

Why wouldn't you go to them? This stuff isnt cheep because the number of cars is so small and their carrying costs are high We keep all these cars alive because of guys like them They have been at this for years Bottom line there is no free ride here M

Michael,

I've been to both several times. In fact, I bought 9129 from Fred. The problem is neither has the parts I need.

Michael,

Not a problem.

Actually I've had good luck with Fred. In fact, I had such good experience in buying parts from him for my 308, that I bought 9129 from pictures on his website without actually physically seeing the car and it was as advertised. Tom Shaughnessy is, well, Tom Shaughnessy. Seriously, sometimes he comes out of the blue with a solution with one's problem.

Tom - I have a hood catch. It's crusty but useable. You are welcome to it.

Thanks, Ben. I'll pass the information on to my shop.

Thanks, guys, for all the other leads. We'll get this thing licked yet.
