Anyone familiar with Picoscope?
I've seen some pretty cool engine diagnostics which can be collected using tools like Picoscope, such as a pressure-plot showing exactly how each cylinder is performing over the entire 4-stroke cycle. Does anyone on this board have any experience with this level of diagnostic tool?
Re: Anyone familiar with Picoscope?
I've not heard of Picoscope but I've used Gunson's Colortune for almost 40 years. They are still available, most British parts houses carry them along with ebay. They replace the spark plug with with a spark plug looking unit with a small window and the elctrodes so you can see the combustion while the engine is running. Once you've adjusted the color to bunson blue you'll have a fairly well set up carb adjustment. Colortunes are fine with spark plugs they are easily reached and visible. I've never used on a Ferrari, I have a 4 gas analyzer if needed for that.
