Trunk seal glue
Trunk seal glue
Hi Tom, you wondered about safely removing the trunk seal glue. I wonder if one of those wheels used to remove graphics from car bodies would work? They are advertised as being paint safe. Mike

Hi Guys, I use Pre-sol all the time for removing glue, NAPA calls it surface cleaner, It's paint safe as well. Also 3m makes an adhesive remover that works well

Re: Trunk seal glue
Hi Richard,
I tried it, and this glue is so old, it didn't soften at all!

Re: Trunk seal glue
They're 3M "Molding Adhesive and Stripe Removal Discs". I've seen them used on vinyl graphics and such and they work pretty good. Don't know if they'd work as well on old, hardened glue. Might be worth a try...afwrench wrote:Hi Tom, you wondered about safely removing the trunk seal glue. I wonder if one of those wheels used to remove graphics from car bodies would work?
