Looking for honest/clean 365GTC/4

Post by 330 America »

After a few years away, I'm itching to get another 2+2 Ferrari. I thought I might go after the 330GT at the Gooding auction (January 2013), but the $200K price tag (plus buyer's premium) is more that I want to spend right now given that I've also just purchased a 1969 911E for my wife.

So having thought about it, I'm expanding my 2+2 hunt to include a car I've always loved (despite the criticism it receives) -- the 365 GTC/4. Michael Bayer's affirmation of his positive ownership experience gives me confidence that I will enjoy the car.

I would like Cromodora wheels (no wires); flexible on color combinations to get the best preserved car for the price point.

I would be grateful if you could email me directly as I don't keep up with my PM's as often as I should: stephen.patti@gmail.com

Thanks for the emails pointing out the Fantasy Junction car, but it's not quite in the condition I'm looking for (more of a #3 car, than #2 car). I am discussing a different car with Bruce/FJ -- so I keep an eye on their site each month. The good news is that I've located what appears to be a #2 car (in red) in the southeast in a private collection (dumb luck).

Hope to see the car in February. Thanks for the kind replies.
