Hi John,

Thanks John. I am very proud to have been a part of 1747 from finding it, to fixing it, and now showing it at Pebble Beach! The latest is Ed, the last owner who preserved this car for 30 years is making the trip down to join us in Monterey! Yes, these cars take a life onto their own, but it's the way they wind their way into our lives that is pretty neat. I'm really looking forward to August!

Last year's party was a lot of fun cause we had a centerpiece--Larry's GTE. You have to do the same this year with Dave's car.

Thank you John! We are very excited and thankful that the car will be there. The credit for the preservation is all Ed's - if it weren't for his generation-and-a-half of care and stewardship the car wouldn't exist. Thanks, Ed. And thanks, Tom, for pointing me towards her.

Well done. I look forward to seeing 1747 in person. What are the plans (if any) for the TYG get together at Monterey? Any info on venue and time?
