I have what is arguably one of the world's largest 250 GTE model collections. The real thing has been gone now for some time. Every time I look at the models....I have regrets about selling the GTE. So I am thinking about passing the collection on to the next individual who is possibly as obsessed as I was when collecting these.
I have seldom seen model kits, most of which are unassembled. There are some rare vintage 1:18 cars, some of them battery powered. There is a very unique, made to order and highly detailed silver/black model, also at 1:18. The 1:43 cars include the more common ones, but I also have AMRs, BBRs, Polistil, and some other rare birds.
I will probably post them on ebay, but just in case one of the board members is interested....I would be happy to host someone to take a look at them in person, perhaps during August car week. I live about 80 minutes North of Monterrey, close to SFO airport.
I do not have detailed pics, prices, or an inventory, but I will put that together if there is no interest in the collection as a whole.

I agree, it is time for another real Ferrari! However, if nobody is interested in the collection in its entirety, I would be interested in a number of the items. I have a significant collection myself, but know that you can fill in many holes. I am in the Bay Area regularly and would be happy to meet up.

Pm sent !
I traded my car for a modern Ferrari + cash, so I might have priced myself out of the market for the vintage stuff. But I do look wistfully at some GTC/4s, Testarossas, and even Lambo Espadas for sale. Those are still reasonable. Or I could get back into Alfas. I have only owned a dozen, or so...

this year is the first time in 20 years that I will be skipping the August festivities. A 15th wedding anniv. is planned for the same period. Have a drink for me ! Or two, perhaps four.
I will create an inventory of models shortly.
