Lowell documented the work he did on his rear suspension and I edited it into a web page. This might be useful as it is more of the step by step process needed to rebuild the rear suspension on an early Ferrari.

Great article! I struggled to rebuild my SWB's rear suspension and springs many years ago and it was an enlightening experience. Wish this article was available then. My shock when I realized after restoring and reassembling the springs that their shape had nothing to do with the springs that came out of the car.
The stuggle to get it right again is worthy of a (horror) movie.
I've printed your instructions and carefully put then in the car's binder in case madness strikes me once again. In which case, I'll give it all to Tom to do.
