A minor annoyance

Post by Michael Bayer »

From this you can tell the weather prevents driving my 330 and I have too much time on my hands: Does anyone have an extra one of the white circular tags on the distributor cap numbered "4" or know where I might buy one? For some reason that one seems to have flown off to Marelli heaven. Please, no expressions about my sanity, I've enough from my family! Michael Bayer

Lowell Brown made some up using Word and then printing on glossy picture paper. Maybe he can send you the file. The only trick is getting the right font and size and then not getting the number exactly in the center as they always seem to be off center.

this may be non stock appearing
but I plan to take those sticky #s
(from Bradley, you know, wire markers)

put them on the wires
and then put clear HST
(Heat Shrink Tubing)
over it and shrink into place

non-stock but professional looking
none the less
and will not fall off
and should be impervious
to solvents, underhood heat, etc.
