If anybody needs photos of the individual tools, I got 'em...

Great picture! I wonder - does anyone know how close Toms 250 bag is to a 330 bag? It seems that all of the various available nages have slightly different numbers of tool loops. The Re-originals has more than Toms picture shows and Rich Wards has fewer.....

Tom,

Thanks for posting the photos of your GTE tool kit. Was wondering if your open end wrenches are BETA No 55 or BETA Auto 55? Also what are the sizes in your set. There seems to be some debate on this and the contents of your original kit would be a good data point. Could you post a close of them for the record.

Thanks, Roger

Tom,

Thanks for posting the photos of your wrenches. They were very helpful. Now I have to find a set of BETA AUTO NO-55 wrenches. The set I have for my car is BETA NO-55.

I have another photo request to make. Could post a photo of the top of your 500 gram hammer the shows how the end of the handle is secured in the head. I have to have a new handle made for mine and would like to match it to how yours is done.

Regards, Roger

I have lots of pictures of original pictures of 330 tools (most of which also apply to 250 models. See http://www.330gt.com/ToolKit/330GTToolkit.htm.

Roger,
Funny you should mention the handle. I had a small mishap yesterday (don't ask),see photo. Also, A photo on my toolkit. Interestingly my wrenches are Gedore. I believe this kit came with the car except for my repro screwdrivers and missing pliers. From a 1962 GTE.

The Gedore wrenches are from the Daytona/Dino era.

Yikes, that was some mishap! I had a similar "mishap" with a Marshall Headlight Cover on my series III a while back. Anybody got a spare?

The question came up about what number was stamped on my hammer. I cannot find any such number, however, the top looks to have some sort of stamp that looks like it was double stamped, off center so nothing is visible inside the boundaries. Does anybody have a clearer stamp or is this the way it should be?

Greetings... Are the wrenches pictured the correct ones. They are Gedore 895 which I believe are currently available new. I've seen references to the Gedore 12 as being found in late 330's, 365's and Daytonas. They look quite a bit different.

Thought I would let folks know what I ended up doing. I ordered a bag from Richard Ward. From my research, it needed to have 11 loops per row instead of 10, and that's how Richard made it. It came out very nice - I have stocked it with modern Beta55 wrenches and Facom wood handled screw drivers. The rest of the bits will follow (slowly....)

Thank you to everyone who made suggestions!
