fuel regulator

Post by cory »

My fuel regulator is damaged on the mounting bracket. It is part #3064-02. Would anybody have a source for one. I did find one from a vendor however it had to be returned due to its unserviceable condition. The search continues. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you

That is correct. The corner on the mounting bracket broke.

Does anybody know which filter may fit in the Fispa pressure regulator. I would appreciate any hint with the number of an European supplier (Bosch, Mann or others).

That part number is for the element. Eurospares lists them under that number for $10 USD.

Sorry, but I do not understand which part number you mean. I checked Eurospares UK according to their oneline catalogue charts and it was not on stock.

When I replaced mine, about 2-3 years ago, I got one that worked great from O'Reilly. Fram G2DP. steve

Fispa 3064-02. Eurospares.uk shows stock at $9.63 USD. That whole assembly was also used on some Alfas. The Alfa units have hose barbs instead of banjo fittings, but the other parts of it are the same.

Regarding the filter, the UFI filter I bought from T. Rutlands looked identical at first glance, but it's missing a collar surrounding the rubber gasket (on the side opposite the spring) and I found it wouldn't stay centered once installed. Is Fram CG7 the correct part number? Looking at this photo (http://www.mypartsgarage.com/media/cata ... G7_Fro.jpg), it looks quite different from the original and doesn't seem to have the gasket or collar

Photo of original filter and UFI Replacement (spring side fine, opposite side of UFI missing collar):

Addition to above -- even the Fispa 3064-02 shown on Eurospares (http://www.eurospares.co.uk/userImages2 ... 491445.jpg) is missing the collar around the rubber gasket. Am I missing something that a collar is required?

I have not seen these filters with the collars in many years. You can place the filter in the glass bowl and then carefully fit the bowl, keeping the rubber seal aligned against the upper housing. Once fitted correctly, the spring will keep it in place.
