365 GT 2+2 Headlight Trim Rings & Interior Parts

Hi All,

I've done a quick search of the site and queried a few parts vendors with no luck.

I know these are probably unobtanium, but can anybody make a recommendation of a place to find a 365 GT 2+2 Queen Mother headlight trim ring (only need one) and a passenger side door aluminum kick panel?

I've attached a photo of the driver's side kick panel for reference.

I probably have what you need, I can look tomorrow. I believe Tom has the door trim pieces but if not I have a few used ones .

I've tried to reproduce the herringbone door trim pieces on the 365 but can't seem to get the correct shine. The original pieces were probably made with a pattern that was rolled onto the polished aluminum sheet. We tried reproducing the pattern with a CNC machine, but couldn't polish the surface of the aluminum to the right shine like the original. The pattern is spot on, but the sheen is not.

I think this is going to be one of those pieces that will cost a lot more $$$ to reproduce.

Hi Zac and Tom,

Thank you for your responses. Zac - I tried to PM you but it doesn't want to go through.

I'm happy for any options for the door...100% accurate or 50% accurate - something is better than nothing on that door panel, and I can't imagine there are many places to find alternatives - even used parts.

Hi Robert,

I spoke to Zac today and he may have the door panel piece you need. We commiserated on how much time and money is wasted trying to reproduce parts that just don't meet our expectations. Someone just told me the other day, "you don't get paid for labor of love!"
