Hi All, Specifically SI 330 owners,

Do SI 330GT 2+2 fuse box cover get semigloss black, or wrinkle black. I think they're semigloss black, but wanted to take a survey.

Thanks.

Greetings… I seem to recall mine was wrinkle black (but then the air cleaner top was yellow to match the car)

Hi Guys,

That's what I'm worried about. I know I've seen original GTE fuse box covers painted in wrinkle black, but I would love to find an original SI 330 fuse box cover to confirm its finish. I've seen a couple like this one painted in semigloss black, but can't confirm their originality. Cory, can you confirm they were original on the two you've seen?

Thanks.

Tom
The engine compartment in 5749 was a visual mess. Seventies - eighties primer over spray everywhere. With that being said after dismantling and cleaning off all of the overspray I believe the fuse panel cover to be original. Will post pics of 5749, 6505, and one other series 1 I believe to be original that was out of the Cleveland area and reported to be in storage for a number of years.

There is a great photo of the fuse box cover on page 98 of the 330 GT owners manual, but it's difficult to tell whether the finish is wrinkle or not. I reached out to Kerry after seeing that picture, and he felt pretty certain they were wrinkle finish based upon the original cars he has seen (he didn't distinguish between S1 and S2, so I assume he meant all). Hopefully he will chime in on this thread, but passing along what he shared with me.

Greetings.. So did we decide the cover is semi-gloss? I'm starting to paint stuff. Probably 106 f here (Sacramento) tomorrow so a good day for wrinkling.
