ferrari nose badge rechroming

Post by enio45 »

i have seen some vintage nose badges and the sellers have indicated they could be rechromed. I talked to my chrome plater and he was concerned in replating it due to the material/colors used within the nose badge.

Has anyone had one replated and if so - how was it done?

Hi Ed, I am very interested in this issue as well. I don't really want to buy a new one. I believe we'd need to strip the badge, re-chrome then cloisonné again.
