book review

Post by fest »

just got a new book
(on my xmas list, but did not get, so bought it for myself)

"Ferrari - The Factory"
Maranello's Secrets 1950-1975
Ludvigsen Library Series / Iconografix 2002

****1/2 (stars)

"Great"

"Best book I've 'read' in a LONG time"

Photos from 'the' Factory featuring
the 195 to the 365BB
and everything in between
including 512P
in all stages of completion
Frames, Cranks, Blocks
Engines, Cars, you name it

the only reason
I would not give it 5 stars
is a few mis-captioned entries
and the fact it has a 550 Maranello on the cover
(a sell-out IMHO) why not a vintage pic-
if someone buys it expecting to see contemporary cars
they will be dissapointed
(but not ME :)
