Bleeding the brakes on a Daytona

Post by Steve Meltzer »

Finally finished rebuilding all the calipers and replacing all of the hoses on my Daytona Spyder conversion, but really struggled to get the brakes bled. Usually, I use a medical style vacuum, but it was a no go this time. Then I remembered that long ago (and far away) I'd purchased a "Motive" power pressure brake bleeder for my 'Vettes. This thing worked like a charm...all 12 bleeders done in less than 15 minutes. Luckily, the unit came with an adapter that fit the Daytona MC perfectly....no accounting for good fortune. Just a little FYI, for a fast brake bleed, done solo and without the need to keep an eye on the MC's level while working. steve
