Post by abrent »

Hello,

Having a hard time finding some of the diff bearings, anyone know a supplier who may have the following.
Pinion, roller race and inner sleeve 32idx75odx28 width I need one of these.
and the Axle shaft 37idx72odx23 width, two of.

Rgs,

Andrew.

Holy cow - an Andrew Brent sighting!

I think I got mine from either Rutland's or GT Car Parts. They don't have them?

Are the 330GT rear differentials the same ? I have mine apart and I could get the bearings and seals from a local supplier
from the numbers on the end of the bearings that were on it.

I cant check for a coupe of days but I will post the NTN bearing number .

I purchased my differential used but it looks like they put new bearings in it at some time , I was not happy with
the amount of effort it took to turn the pinion yoke so I disassembled it .
I think it needs a bigger shim between the pinion bearings because as soon as I loosened the pinion nut a bit
it would turn better.
Shims are on the way .

Pinion seal is a 42x72x8
Pinion bearing : NTN 4T-HM89449 and 4T-M88046

These were in my diff before I disassembled it . Not sure about axle bearings , I did not remove them.

We have them all in stock here at Maranello Classic Parts I think. Basically the same bearings as the 330GT Mk 1 (care - the 330 interim and Mk 2 has some different sized bearings). Email attention to me at parts@ferrariparts.co.uk if you don't have any joy and I'll see what we have for you!

Cheers
