Emergency/Assessory lights

Post by Tom Wilson »

A long time ago, we had a discussion about what kind of light was supposed to plug into the socket under the dash, left of the steering wheel. We didn't come up with an answer, but I have kept up the search and found two lights that fit in the socket and actually light up! The one on the left is made by Altissimo and the one on the right does not have any manufacturer stamp. As a light does not seem to have come with the car, either one should be proper, but I like the Altissimo because Pininfarina did use them for other parts. These lights must have been common enough in the day that Ferrari felt comfortable putting in a socket without actually supplying the gizmo that went into it. Thoughts?
