Thank you to all for the advice and possible parts suppliers. Yale, thanks for the phone calls. Turns out that the detailing company was mistaken, the handle is not broken, just disconnected. Paul Russell pulled the door panel, saw handle was not attached to internal rod, replaced the circlip and reattached the handle and rod, and Voila!, saved me $250 plus. I guess I owe you guys some beers. (Do I get away that cheaply?)
Oh, and Tom has now posted my tardy story in the Owner's Gallery about our Ferrari purchase saga. Well, more story than saga.
