Dear All,
I have read different information on the type of plating for the front suspension arms on 250 Gte's. Some sources say chemical nickel, others clear cadmium plating.
Looking at my disassembled front suspension the steering arm is nickel but the suspension arms look cad, with a slight yellowish teint.
As I am having my parts refurbished I would like to use the right plating?
Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi Chris,
I've always plated these pieces in Nickel. The differences in plating colors could be from the different manufacturers. ZF my has supplied the steering components and used a different plating process than the suspension pieces supplied to Ferrari.
