THE SIDE VIEW MIRROR ON MY DAYTONA COUPE WAS FINE UNTIL IT FLEW APART ON THE FREEWAY SOME 2-3 YEARS AGO. THE REPLACEMENT I GOT FIT THE MOUNTING HOLES JUST FINE, BUT THE REPLACEMENT MIRROR IS USELESS UNLESS I HAVE THE SEAT ALL THE WAY BACK, AND EVEN THEN, IT'S MARGINAL.THIS IS AN AMERICAN CAR AND IT'S DANGEROUS TO HAVE SUCH POOR VISION.
IN CONTRAST, THE SIDE VIEW MIRROR ON MY DAYTONA SPYDER, CONVERSION, A EURO CAR, SITS ALMOST A FOOT MORE FORWARD ON THE DOOR, IS A DIFFERENT BRAND, I THINK, AND WORKS GREAT.
I'D APPRECIATE ANY INSIGHT HERE AND A SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM.
THANX steve
