as you owners are probably well aware
the Ignition Rotor for the 400i
is NLA (512 BBi, as well)
and has been for some time
This part is now being reproduced
and the 'major' players have begun
(or will soon begin) to distribute
I believe that all of these parts
now available are from the same 'batch'
as they have all hit the market at the same time
the part that I recieved today
is rather of poor quality-
not up to OE Standards by any stretch of the imagination
attempts to pass these reproductions off
as OEM parts
is bound to occur
(sooner or later)
any claim that the seller makes
that they somehow have uncovered NOS parts
is probably a deception
I am keeping mine as a spare
(but would not install it unless necessary
as I do not trust it)
