250 GTE AT HERITAGE CLASSIC
Hey, that is like my car, except that it has a red carpet ! And I paid less than half the amount for my car...*
*OK, OK.....I had to throw some money at it to wake it up from its European slumber...

Ex 1963 Ferrari 250 GTE, 99 Modena 360, 11 Maserati QPorte S, 08 merc gl550, 67 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Convertible, 2008 Ducati Hypermotard S, 2006 MV Agusta Brutale S, 1991 Ducati 907i.e.
seat for every ass, an ass for every seat...I think these guys had like 4 of them over the last 4 years. I went there to look at one myself and I told them about the registry, so I wander if they mined that to get the subsequent cars...All sold, BTW.
I hope the prices are going up. According to my unofficial market analysis (combo of prices paid and asking prices):
-projects are selling in the U$25-40K range
-drivers are in the $40-55K bracket now
-completely restored cars are in the $55-85K range, particularly in Europe
IMO....

Body and paint look fantastic. Engine needs detailing. Foam in the seat cushions has dried up and collapsed. Fair amount of work for a car this expensive, and there's no way of knowing what kind of shape the engine and driveline are in, let alone the suspension. What must one as nice as Tom's be truly worth? The marketplace will decide, as always.
Agreed. The car seems overpriced by about $15-20K.
All speculation and I have my vintage 2+2 already. I will probably keep it for a while. I will get it a garage mate, if
-550 Maranellos depreciate another 25 percent
-company stock goes ballistic *yeah, right
-my 40th birthday is a really rough one
-wife gets killer job and decides to get the 348 cab she always wanted
thx
