They are small and they shake, but I use my (one) all the time. Especially when backing out of the driveway.

Never say never! I will admit that I've always thought that these "clip-on" or "clamp-on" mirrors were ugly. However, I find that I may be in need of one or both side mirrors on my (new to me) '64 XKE/ OTS. I raised this conundrum over on the Jaguar-Lovers forum, and a number of people who own British cars use them. There's some debate about which side, passenger or driver, a convex mirror is best. I would gladly take opinions here as well.
Thanks Steve

Here are a non matching pair mirrors that came with our Series 1 GTE and the pinch type that I am currently using and very happy with. BTW I've noticed that some cars have mirrors mounted on the door and some on the fender. Ours were mounted on the door allowing access to the back side nuts. Sorry for the image rotation.

I love the line without thE mirrors.
If I paint my car again. I will probably eschew the mirrors.
Yes, they are useful, but I turn the head anyway, so I figure I could do without them.

Just installed a Fosseway clip on mirror on my '64 XKE. Easy, non-destructive design and easy placement; nice period look, fast shipping from England, and great owner communication. So far,so good. s

Steve,

Do you think the Fosseway clip on mirror would work on the 330?

Just noticed the photo of the clip on mirror from NOTRED. That looks like what I have been looking for. Where did it come from?
