330GTC ignition switch removal

Post by tinbender »

Hello all,
I am thinking about cleaning the contacts in my ignition switch to see if this will give me more voltage to my electric fuel pump. Can anyone explain the remove process for the ignition switch?
Thanks,
Terry Phillips

Hi Terry,

You may be able to remove the back side of the switch to clean the contacts. It's going to take some contortions to stick your head back there to remove the two bolts that hold the back side of the switch. You'll have to disconnect the wires first. Removing the whole column assembly is a lot harder.
