Looking for: GTE: Chrome locking nut (shifter) + lock for my fuel filler

Post by JL Van Marcke »

All,

My 1962 Series II GTE is almost finished and I'm looking for some small parts like a chrome locking nut (under the shifter knob) and also a key lock for my fuel filler flap.

GTO Engineering selles repro locking nuts, but they don't look like the 'rounded' original ones.

Thank you for your input,
JL

Hi JL,

I'll keep an eye out for these two pieces. The locknut can always be fabricated and chrome plated if you really get into a bind, but the gas cap lock is tough one to find.

Good luck!
