Wonder what happened to the original 2+2 that was in its 'prime", and the later 330 GT?
What sort of work would be necessary to perform on an engine that hasn't been run (much) in 14 years so that it won't leak like a sieve or do other bad things?
For $20K "opening bid" I guess I would want to take Dennis up on his offer of seeing the engine run and doing a little PPI before writing a check. If I already had a worn out engine, I would feel better spending about the same money and having a full rebuild done by a good shop (apparently not Bob Smith unless I want to spend many more $).
