Ferrari 2+2 Aficiandos:

I now have a dozen or so of the invitations and registration packets from FCA / NER. The emphasis this year, car wise, is on Ferrari 2+2's and they cordially invite all of us to attend and hopefully participate. i.e., bring our cars. Oh, and you folks w/ 2 seater Ferrari's can come too. (Ouch!)

I was told that they already lined up David Letterman's 1951 212 Berlina, and we're bring ours, even if I have to push it.

It's all for charity as you will see when I send you the material. Please contact me via telephone or email and I will send you the forms, answer any questions. Hartford, CT is easily accessible via Interstates 91, 84, 95 to 91, 90 to 91, and the Merritt/Wilbur Cross Parkway.

Contact me with any questions or for directions.
Regards,
Jack Horner

Michael Greenspan said something about a +2 meeting at his house on the Sunday of this event and I promise to bring Tom who keeps complaining about having no time and no sleep. But the fact is if he thinks after all he has done for the + 2 community that he can get off not showing up to a + 2 event, forget about it.

So so far we have:

Art S
Yale
Tom Yang
Michael Greenspan
Jack "The Mack" Horner

anyone else I can volunteer for this thing?

Sunday the 20th of June is the day by the way.

So far we have 3 dark blue 330's. What color is Michael Greenspan's car? Is Tom bringing the America?

Hi All,

Although it's a long shot, I'm going to try to get the 330 America there!

Great!

The David Letterman contingent will have red cars, everyone else will have blue cars.

Seriously, I hope you can get your car there Tom!

O.K. Here's a list of things I still have to do to make the show:
1. Finish the dash
2. Cover the interior trim pieces with headliner material
3. Finish the grille
4. Find the fuel leak that still is in the rear of the car.
5. Finish the seatbelt installation.
6. Fix minor details inside the car

The more I think about it, I may not make it, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to try!

Hi - My guess is that I will have the only "Maronne" 2+2 there - in Crayola colors that's really a dark chocolate brown. The interior is a very California sun toasted saddle that looks like a buttery yellow. Our house is undergoing major renovations and the builder is hoping to have us back inside (but no guarantees on the condition ofthe outside) by the end of May so the June meet would seem to be Ok - I am in Westbrook between exits 64 and 65 of I-95 and West of Route 9 (exits 3 through 5) which goes north to Hartford. Tom,

Bring a fire extinguisher for the leak and don't worry about the rest, just get it there!

Michael,

I saw your car at Francois' - it’s my favorite!

Guys, I just mailed Art S. a reg form. Does anyone else need one mailed to them? Event will be held "rain or shine". In case of rain arrangements are made to have the Concorso and food, etc in the enclosed Capitol/Legislative garage. FCA/NER = Ferrari Club of America/New England Region.

Art, did I hear you volunteer to repaint your car Lime Green so we don't all look alike? LJH
