Location of Fuel Filter 1977 308

My converted 308 (which now sports throttle bodied f.i. and MSD ignition) is long since due for a fuel filter change, having misplaced my shop manual and being too loazy to look, I wondored if anyone has the answer handy?

Before my 330 2+2, I had an 82 European 308 GTSi. It may be different than yours (78) but, mine had a rather large (3" dia x 4" long) fuel filter mounted on the forward firewall. It was pricey ($50-70?) and may be available from O'Reilly's or NAPA. Not too hard to change.
