can a few of you out there let me know about your washer motor??
i am curious about the brand and location. i have a Trico motor and
a friend of mine has a VDO. i have seen them mounted on the passenger
side to the right of the battery, and i have seen them mounted below
the center of the battery tray below where the washer bag hangs.
there must be a "proper" location??

my original washer pump motor is mounted below the battery box and is a VDO type - germany brand.
seems that the original one went bad and someone added a second one and left the original in place (lucky for me) . In searching for another original VDO, i found an almost duplicate one for the BMW 1968 model yr.....mounting bracket and pump look is almost identical. I ordered it and am waiting for the arrival.
will post the part number as soon as i check it out .....and the good news...less than 60.00 dollars!!
