'64 or '65 Red GT2+2 Needed for BBC Shoot in Los Angeles

Post by gbtbag »

BBC Television, one of the world's foremost television networks and production companies, is looking for a 1964 or 1965 hardtop red Ferrari 330 GT 2+2 for a one-day documentary film shoot in Los Angeles in early August.

The car will not be driven but just parked in a motel parking lot. It will be needed for a scene to be shot as soon as it gets dark. The exact shooting date has not yet been decided but should be in the first week of August.

Indemnity insurance will be provided.

Please email bbctvprod@yahoo.com if you have this model available for rent. Thank you.

It's Red but it's a 67 GTC

You're rather specific about the model in question.... But if a red coupe will work, I've got a nice example...

Not to throw cold water on seeing your car in lights, but ...

Check the bona fides of all involved. Obtain a written and signed copy of the purpose of the filming and the use of your car. You do not want to see it show up in a porno flick at some California motel.

ONLY DO THIS photo shoot if you receive cash equivalent remuneration, a written insurance policy for the full replacement value of your car, a written agreement that the BBC, the production company, and all others involved are held responsible for anything that happens to your car, that they all agree in writing to repair / replace ANYTHING that is broken or lost.

Take digital photos off every square millimeter, inside & out, of your car immediately prior to delivery to production, and repeat process when finished, to compare.

Based on my recent experience, with "a world famous restoration shop", even if you do all of the above, and more, you may rue the day.

Still working out my situation, LJH

The prurient side of me would actually be interested in a BBC porno flick...
