I just got my Forza mag. Beautiful cars, and a very positive article on the 330 2+2 in general. The author's tone was a bit amusing, as if he was somewhat surprised by the real-Ferrari qualities of Yale's and Jack's cars.

I feel the same way about my car as Yale does his, it's neat to own a transitional era car that truly has one end in the 50's and one in the 60's. That wasn't necessarily my intention but it's what I ended up with and I'm quite happy with it.

I've been to two Barnes & Noble stores and one independent magazine newstand, and I can't find a copy. Where can I find one? Is it worth it?

Thanks,

The editor told me that the issue will be in bookstores and magazine shops by the end of the month (July). I cannot speak for its value, other than humor, and you'll easily figure out what the wife and daughters are now calling me around the house. LJH

Which issue is it? I just picked up the August 2004 (#55) at the local Borders - nice GTE article, but no 330s :(

Fantastic - thanks guys. My local Borders must be a bit on the slow side, I'll check again next week.

I picked it up at B&N this past Friday. Good article, nice cars, and it was interesting to read about the difference in feel between the Series I and II 330's.

Jack & Yale,

I finally got the magazine. Great article! OK text, wonderful pictures.

Jack, I'm pretty sure both the clutch and brake are boosted, your clutch shouldn't cause gigantism to occur in your left leg.

Regards,

Art S.

PS. I love David North's 400! Is he a visitor of this site?

loved the article - good show, Jack and Yale!

Forza is killing me - they test four variants of 2+2s and manage to leave out the 365GT2+2?!?!?

I did enjoy the picture on p. 40 of the queen mother kicking the ass of the two 360s. (OK, OK, I know that the queen was just holding them up, but let me have my moment, alright?)

Bryan P, Alas, the day FORZA shot our 330's, we had no-shows of a 365 GT 2+2, a 400i, and a 365 GTC4, all due to last second mechanical problems. The dealer promised a new 456 demonstrator & that, too, was a no-show due to scheduling conflicts. Oh, and this photo shoot and test drive took place in May 2002. Glad we didn't hold our breath, but happy that we are beginning to receive better 'press'!

When Tom gets his car on the road maybe we can get them to come back and due a 'follow up' article & get some other models. LJH

Great article! My 330 awaits one last gearbox bushing to be back on the road so it was nice to read about the 330s.
Especially liked the Hoya plate holder!
