Happy Anniversary Tom!

Post by JAshburne »

Five years today since you became an owner. I'll bet that the time has seemed to alternate between creeping along (how long before I finish this project?) and absolutely flying by.

Congratulations! Look at all that you have accomplished in 5 years, both with the car and in other areas.

Let's all hoist a glass of a favorite beverage in a toast to Tom!

Hi John,

Thanks! After five years, I can't believe it's still not done, but it's soooooo close!

Tom,

I can’t believe that I’ve been following this site for just under 5 years! I still don’t own a vintage Ferrari (no time/no space/own a boat, 5 motorcycles, and two cars) but your site allows me to feel like I kinda do.

“Finishing” your car will be a sad day in my false-ownership but it will have been a great journey.

thanks again for all your dedication.

Hi Peter,

I'm very happy this car is nearing completion, but I'm also working on figuring out what's next. I can't imagine my Fridays without something Ferrari! Stay tuned!

Besides, I'm finding out restoring this car is one thing, but keeping it running is another!

Actually Tom I think it is time for you to update the photo of the car on your front/first page ... shouldn't it now be the current state at the top and what it was below :D

Keeping it running's not bad at all. You've done the hard part.

I've been a lurker/member here since fall 2001, and probably would not have pursued vintage Ferrari ownership without this board. Congrats, Tom, and thanks to you and everyone here. It's been purcha$e I don't have any regrets about.
