When they don't even have a photo of the motor and don't say anything about what they know about the car's history like this ebay one, I thinlk the worst. Yale

I keep noticing 330 and GTE Ferrrais that don't sell or meet their reserve on ebay like that GTO recreation auction that just ended. Makes one wonder if the sellers don't really expect to be selling an over 100,000 dollar car on an ebay auction but are instead are really marketing their item to a wider public and other dealers? Yale I think that you are right in eBay just being used as a marketing tool. In fact, the 330 GT first mentioned in this thread was on eBay a couple of years ago, didn't meet the reserve, but the current owner bought it after the auction.

I've heard that he wants about 50K.

The 330 GTO replica is currently advertised on the web for $270K. Far cry from the $105K offered on eBay.

I try my hardest to spell Pininfarina correctly when selling a Ferrari . . .
