Dear Tom,
I am just dropping you a quick note to let you know I have been enjoying for a few weeks now the summaries of your activities.
I have "rebuilt" a 400A twice and sued the expert once. The exercise was heart breaking whilst it was happening and the only good thing is that it is very much behind me now. I have way way over captialized and the car, whilst a thrill to drive, particularly on the track where it becomes a Ferrari
Good luck with teh rest of your project

Garry,
Thank you for the kind words. Knowing there are people out there who enjoy reading about my restoration as much as I am in doing it, keeps me posting to the web.
Sorry to hear about your eperiences with the 400A. Ferraris are extreemly enjoyable to own, but beyond expensive it you run into problems. I keep my fingers crossed everyday hoping I don't run into problems!
I hope to bring my car out to the track, if not just once. Engines with true race heritage really comes alive when at the track, and to hear it while you're driving the car has got to be thrilling!
