I am in the midst of a move from England back to the US after 7 years and have found a 1997 355 GTB in Europe for around $63,000 USD which sounds like a bargain. It has 27,000 kms and supposedly has had its cambelts just changed. Having lived over here, does anyone know if I can ship it with my furniture and household items? Or will I have to pay duties and taxes for a 1997 car that I bought one week before the movers arrived? Does anyone know how much it would cost to import and convert? And if I go to all this trouble, what will the resale value of a converted Euro 355 in the US market? If anyone could help me, I would greatly appreciate a reply to my e-mail: cwlondon@hotmail.com. My girlfriend has just dumped me and I am trying to cheer myself up for the Summer. Thank you very much!
